Its a really really short steering column, the end of the column is still within the dash area. The u-joint from the steering column connects to the u-join of the power steering box right inside the cab/dash area before the engine bay.
We put in a complete aftermarket axle in, as this is a Factory Five kit car. Though to your previous question, you may want to check with Winters Performance.
I see you have put the power steering “inside”, any more info on that?
Also on the quick change diff? Does that work with a Ford 8.8?
Hey Robert, its a Unisteer electric power steering unit with a Ididit shorty tilt steering column.
Not sure what you mean by the second question? The quick change differential is part of the quick change rear end.
How does it fit on the column, the standard set up is to have the steering unit near the engine?
Second question, do you replace the whole axle or just the diff??
