A Championship winning 1972 Corvette Street Car

The subject of an intense build project that spanned a short 48 Hour timeframe, the 48 Hour Corvette went on to enjoy three fastest street car race seasons. Competition series include Goodguys Autocross, Optima’s Search for the Ultimate Street Car and various single events including The Motor State Challenge, LSFest and many others.

Together with its older “sibling” — the 48 Hour Camaro, the 48 Hour Corvette spawned an entire product line of “go-fast” parts at RideTech known as Track 1.  The  range of products include ultra-rigid billet modular spindles, advanced suspension arms and many other parts designed for the street car enthusiast who likes to attend track days and autocross events.

The 48 Hour Corvette project culminates with its sale at the 2017 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction.
