This is the original Air Ride Suspension
that was developed several years
ago and remains the most popular
system today. The CoolRide™ system
consists of an airspring, a shock
absorber, and all of the necessary
mounting bracketry and hardware.
On a front system the shock is usually
relocated to the outboard side of
the lower control arm. A weld-on
bracket mounts the top of the shock
to the frame rail. On a rear system,
the airspring and shock absorber
will normally go in the stock locations.
The CoolRide™ system
has the greatest application coverage
and versatility of all of our Air
Ride Systems. It will raise and lower
the vehicle, improving the handling
and offering a terrific ride.
