In May I will order a complete air ride system consisting of " s10 road grater, cool ride uppers and lowers but I am in the air on which compressor system to get. For the extra money is the 4800e worth it?? that seems like over kill for a daily driver. Would I be better off with the 4700e?? This is for a SPORTSIDE 03 Extreme.... Any sugestions????

It all depends on how much you use it. The extra volume can be nice at times. What size wheels are you going to run?

With a 20 up front, laying it out, you will have to cut the fender well. Gotta watch the ground fx when laying it out too, they hang below the frame. Might want to consider a smaller tire the the AirBar if you don' t want to cut up a lot.

I dont mind cutting the bed. but if I use the upper/lower control arms{arf5000luca} how low can I expect the front end to go with no cutting?? And do I HAVE TO have drop spindles???.

What are the exact dimensions on the 20. 235/20/45? Just figure out the size of the tire and measure it up. Most of the time we use drop spindles, but if you want to use 20' s you might want to stick with stockers.

27" is the height of the tire> I dont want to use dropped spindles if I dont have to.. It looks as if the front air dam will be appx. 1- 1.5 inches off the ground fully deflated with the tires acting as the bump-stop...as they will hit the upper portion of the fender..will this be o.k. to just park, drop it, and let the tires rest on the upper fenders??

No not ok. You want the truck to be resting on a bumpstop or the bag.

maybe I need to re-think my setup?? What would be the best set-up if I do not want to cut the front fenders and get as low as possible? I dont mind cutting up front... its re-locating all the stuff on on the fender wells i want to avoid...by the way.. where can I get bump stops??

If you want to lay frame and don' t want to remove the fender well you will need to run like a 235/35/18. It is like a 24.5" tall tire.
