Got a few questions maybe someone can answer for me ! First off I have a 01' Tahoe and I want to go with air , and right now it' s sitting stock ride height which you all know is up there, especially in the rear , I' m riding on 20s with 285/50s and what I want to do is be able to bring it down to level it out and also try to get it down as low as possible without doing a lot of cutting or anything . What kind of travel do these systems have 3/6/9" s from stock How much up or down from what I have now?
Pretty much I' m looking for a bolt -on system to get what I want . Also let me add this is my daily driver and does go on a lot a 400-600 mile trips so I want to keep my ride comfort as close as possible or maybe better than stock . Quickness is not a real big concern as I' m not looking to be hopping or anything , just looking for the nice look , like when you pull into a show and can hit the switches and drop it down and have a nice stance. What would be better or which is best CoolRide or Shockwave ? I' m new to this so any advice would be greatly appreciated . Also what kind of prices are we looking at ? Packages?................Thanks...Bill

Hey Bill what is going on. Just a little food thought. You have to let the boys know if your truck is 4 wheel drive or not. If it isn' t then there is numerous things that you could do for ride and function. Tony will help you with that. He' s the man. Later

We use a Shockwave setup on the front and lose the torsion bar. $849 for the pair. The rear is a conventional bag and bracket setup that replaces the coilspring, $399 will get it. Both front and rear kits are super easy to install, the worst part is removing the torsion bar and that not bad.
All thats left is to pick out a compressor kit, definitely go with a 4 way. The RidePro valves will give you about a 6 second rise time and the Big Reds will will be under 2 seconds.

Hey Darren ,
Thanks Alot for all the info I appreciate it , now I want more :D So your saying the ARC4000 has 6 sec rise time and the ARC4700 has 2 second rise time for 300.00 more ? Am I getting that right? Also how much of an advantage from ARC4700 to the ARC4800 ? How much difference from 3/8" to 1/2" lines does it make? 1 tank ? 2 tanks how much difference? Also since I' m sitting stock now what kind of differnce will I see just adding this system? How much higher than stoxk can I get ? and lower? Ok thats it for now I' m sure I' ll have more later . Thanks

The price difference between the ARC4000 and the ARC4700 is about $450. In comparing the 4700 to the 4800 the main advantage is the extra tank. It will increase you speed and give you alot more air to play with.
Ride height will be about 3" lower than factory, fully deflated will be an additional 3" . If you measure the distance between you tire and wheel well now it' s right at 6" , so this kit should put the tire to the wheel well.
