gray wires for gauge

Tony, Darren or anybody:

Having trouble figuring out the 2 gray wires on the back of the gauge. I know their for the gauge light, that' s why I need some serious help. I hate driving at night and not having my gauges lit up. Can somebody please tell me where to hook those 2 wires to? I would really enjoy not having to turn on my interior lights everytime I use the gauge:D Thanks so much!

Matt,
Whenever you put 12v to the red wire it supplies the gray wire with 12v. So, hook the gray wire up to the gauges.

i had no idea that once you connected the red wires to your power source, that your gray wires automatically got power. It all makes sense now. I made it harder then it should have been. Thanks so much! Going to fix that ASAP!
