I understand from other posts that the height of a deflated bag is about 3in and the smoothest ride height should be around 5 or 6inches. Assuming this is correct then here is my question....>>>
I am wondering if i have my truck(70 model chevy) laying with my bags fully deflated and air up to ride height, my frame is only going to be about 3inches of the ground while driving?? or do the control arms give somewhat of a cantilever effect bringing it up a little more??

You are right the motion ratio of the control arm will multiply the movement. Fully deflated to ride height on that truck is almost 4" . But you will have a couple inches above ride height for extra clearance.

Also i have seen alot of trucks driving with the back end lower than the front...i have asked e few people that drive like this and they say it gives a smoother better ride. Why is this?

If they wanted the rear end higher with the same ride qualities all they would have to do is shim the bag.
