I have installed the compressor, tank, valves, and cpu rideproe box, but haven' t piped out any struts or bags yet. Upon turning the system on, instead of all four corners showing zero, they all showed 02, and the back left showed 06. When the compressor started, all the numbers bounced around irratically. The black and red wire for the cpu are right to the negative and positive of the battery. The sending units are grounded through the stainless bracket as well as grounded to the frame. Could this frame connection be causing my problems...if not, what?
Thanks, Rob

and is it ok to pressurize the system before the bags and struts are installed? Valves are in a manifold configuration and the delevery ports have the hose fittings on with tape over them to keep out moisture, so I know if I hit an up button, the tape will be blown off, but other than that, is it not advised for some other reason?

Thanks, Rob

I' m in the process of isolating the frame the senders are on from the frame using rubber o rings and cork, then running a designated ground only for the senders from the battery. I' ll let you know how it works out.

if it works let me know.

I thought about getting a piece of plastic/non conductive material ( guess it could even be wood )machined to attach the sending units and bracket to and then attach to the frame so it only grounds through the ground at the battery.

It definitely worked. The numbers only vary a pound or two each way, even with the compressor running. I used nylon bolts to mount the bracket to the frame with nuts accessable, through 1/4" rubber between the frame and the bracket. Works real nice, just don' t know if ill ever be able to get the numbers to stay constant, I doubt it, but...

Robert,
dont worry about your numbers bouncing around while you drive if you had manual guages you would see a lot of this. Kind of scary but its because you are reading the preasure pushing on the sending unit not a guage reading voulme like a tire guage.
I am still working little bugs out of my set up but I run 100 psi in right front and 80 in left front because of suspension components variations (a few shims between the lower spring mount and the spring will correct this little variation if I ever get time to do it).
In a turn my preasures will go up or down depending on how hard i push the truck in the curve.
Boy you ought to see the fellas with 4 gen Fbodys or lowered bling bling ricers when they see my orange and white " beater camo" 78 c10 eating thier back sides.
My old 350 with th LT4 HOT Roller still has the beans to pull thru just about any curve as long as my LT30X9.50X15C Hoosiers stick (yeah truck tires i havent bought my wheels or Fusions yet, since I work for Bridgestone/Firestone I can really get some sweet deals on sticky tires, like Potenza S-02a and S-03' s but I' ll just use the less expensive Fusions for now since I drive lots of miles)
Oh well good luck
