View Full Version : Bagging my coaches
I am new to bags but have always wanted them. First, I have a 85 cadillac front wheel drive funeral coach with struts all around. Do you have an application that will work? Also what compressors, tank and other hardware would be the best? I also want to bag my 66 cadillac funeral coach, it has leafs in the back and the axle sits on top of the leafs. About how much am I looking at spending to bag these cars? I dont need anything fancy, just want it to lay frame. Also, I read about air transfer going around corners, what exactly is this?

Air transfer is only possible with a 2 way system, go 4 way and its not possible. A 2 way system has 1 airline running to the front and teeing off.
The 66 shouldn' t be too bad, it will be a universal kit but it' s pretty easy to install. With a 4way compressor kit the system will run around $1800.
The 85 is a little more difficult and bit more expensive. I do have some universal AirStruts but you would have to make the upper and lower mounts. Around $2900 for that system.

Hi,
I also have a hearse, 1968 Cadillac M+M. The rear end is also leaf and I have been told that Cadillac borrowed it from the 68 GMC truck. The front suspension is similar to the Fleetwood. I plan to tow with this vehicle and it weighs about 6000 lbs by itself. What type of kit do I need and how much for the most basic kit. Fabrication and welding is no problem for me.
Thanks,

I would use the universal CoolRide kit up front part # ARI1001. This uses the F6873 air spring. I would probably use ARK4900 air over leaf kit in the back. Keep in mind these are universal kits and are simply a good guess on my part.
