Greetings,

I am hoping some of you can help me. I have a 94 Ford Explorer and am interested in bagging it; however, I am new to the ideal of airbags. What do I need to know and be aware of when piecing together a really good setup? How concerned should I be of alignment after I lower it? I am assuming that in order to get the lowest drop, I have to use conventional methods of lowering prior to a bag setup, correct? If so, what would be the safest and best way to accomplish this? New springs and i-beams in the front? What about the leaf' s in the back?

Who makes good airbag setups, and does anyone have an idea of what I would need for my 94 Ford Explorer sport?

Regards,

Jesse in tampa

Yes, you will have to use drop beams up front to keep the alignment straight. When you deflate the truck misalignment will occur so most driving needs to be done at ride height. I don' t have a kit specific for the explorer but I do offer a universal kit that works with minor mods.
On the rear you can use one of our Air Over Leaf kits.
