AirBar HD/ Step Notch questions

Hi,

I' m intrested in the AirBar HD setup for my 98 Chevy Crew Cab Dually. Can that kit be used with a step notch in lieu of the C notch that comes with it? I' m trying to get the frame to lay on the ground with the bags deflated. I don' t haul anything but Motocross and Mountain bikes so cutting my bed will not be a problem. Do you know of any of your customers running AirBar HD with a step notch and what, if any, extra modifications they needed to do to it?

The AirBar for your truck doesn' t come with a notch, we use the Beltech notch. I' m not real sure what needs to be done to use the AirBar and go that low, but I am sure you will have to cut up the bed for axle clearance. Also bar lengths will need to be changed to correct pinion angle, and panhard bar mounts will need to be moved. Next possible problem is the carrier bearing and drive shaft clearance. Shock and bag specs also need to be considered.
