Darren, Tony or anyone:

I noticed a little bit of tire wear on the front tires after I installed the air bags and started driving it around. Is the truck too low for an allignment machine? Can I get the truck alligned with the air bags? I' m asking this question because when I had a 4/6 drop kit on my truck a few months ago, the guys at a local Firestone shop said it was TOO LOW for an allignment. They said the a-arms would hit something on their machine and they wouldnt be able to drive it onto it. Is it possible to get it alligned now with the air bags? I don' t want to wear down my exspensive tires anymore. Thanks a lot!

Definitely get it aligned... Try to figure out exactly what air pressure you like and have them align it at that height.

Darren or Tony:

I went to a local Firestone shop and they still are telling me that I can' t get my truck alligned. They are saying that when they allign the tires, and bring them out that the tires will hit the outside fender lip. Do they know what their talking about? or is this true? Cause I really want to get my truck alligned. I don' t wanna go through tires, exspensive! Help please, thanks!

I think there is just a misunderstanding the place you are taking it probably doesnt really understand airride so they could also just be trying to stay away from the job.
The alignment should be done at ride height and there is no way your tires could be that close to the fenders or else you wouldnt be able to turn without hitting the fenders. They are probably thinking you want an alignment with your truck aired out which would be pointless but from what they said about the tires hitting the fenders and too low for the frame rack, i could see how this could be confusing to them.

yes I believe if you raise it up now you will be able to get it aligned because my ford was aligned and then they told me what pressure to drive it at to keep the tires from wearing funny
