I am going to install a CoolRide system on my ' 66 Impala. I run 17' X 8.5" wheels and was wondering if there is any chance of an interference problem with the shock relocation and the wide wheels that may affect turning radius.
And just to confirm, on th ' 66 kit, the shock gets relocated behind the control arms correct?

Yes the shock gets mounted behind the lower arm. There is always a possibility for losing some turning radius when using a CoolRide kit and a wide tire, but that car has a narrow control arm and you should not have any problems. It all depends on the offset of the wheel.
