Basically I drag race my car whenever I get the chance be it on the street or at the track, I drive it hard around turns. I just want to know if I would be better off with Coil springs or will the air-ride kits be able to perform as well as/or better than the tradition drag spring kit or handling kit

We have a 01 GT that with our AirStruts on the front and CoolRide in the rear with HAL 12 position adjustable shock. It also has a Vortech supercharger with intercooler, put out about 420 hp. We ran 12.6 in the quarter with a 1.48 60 ft time. We utilized the adjustable Stuts up front by decreasing the valving, which gave us better weight transfer. Also we preloaded the right rear with a couple exta psi. Bottom line an airspring does the exact same thing as a coil spring, and like coilsprings they have different spring rates. With our airbag setup handling will be a bit better than factory, but not as stiff as a lowering spring. But with the adjustable shock and struts all the way around you can get that with the turn of a knob.

So if I use the Airstruts system all the way around my car I can set it at the track for max traction/wieght distribution, then on the drive home I can have it set for cornering?
If it' s not airstruts all the way around what set up do I need from Air-ride?

AirStruts up front and CoolRide in the rear with adjustable struts.
