I have a 49 chevy 1/2 ton pickup that I would like to put an air bag suspention under. I am putting a Mustang 2 front end in with air bags, that part I have figured out. Any suggestions on what I should use for the rear. I would like to drop it as low as I can get it. Thanks!

Gavin,
May I make a little suggestion. The S-10 Chassis is a perfect match for 47-54 GM trucks. We all know how much bag stuff is made for the S-10. Find yourself a good frame from the junk yard and start there. There is a post on another forum I frequent on the swap. I will try to find the link.

in the customer cars section on this website pick step #4. select 3100 step side to see a tribar that you can use on yours.

On the 58....you might want to consider remounting the shocks. Maybe with a stud instead. When you raise and lower the truck the angle on the shocks will change. The bushings may be able to handle this angle change but it may reduce the life of the bushing.
