what system for front should i get? 53 merc

what system should i use for the front end on my 53 merc, i see in the catalog that they have them for 51 merc but im not sure if theres a big difference some one please help me out![:@]

The ' 53 is different than the ' 49-' 51. I don' t have a pre-fab kit for the stock suspension. Have you given any thought to using a different front stub? Maybe a four-link out back??

im goin with the stock leafs in the back and using the air over leaf, but the front, if they dont make a kit for it i dont know what im going to do, please reply with any suggestions on what i should do. [8D]

You could use an installer' s kit and fabricate the cup brackets yourself - this will allow you to keep the stock front crossmember. Another option would be changing the front crossmember out to a Mustang II or similar independent front clip - we' ve got kits for alot of the more popular ones.

ya i thought about fabricating it myself, from the pieces in the catalog, and im gonna go with that, thanks for your help.:D
