I am aware that there have been instances where moisture inside the system, even with a water seperator installed, can condense and freeze the valves into their seats. I have looked into truck airbrake antifreeze, but it is a liquid designed to be introduced through an alcohol evaporator, or alcohol injector. Realizing that does nobody that has airride on their car any good, I' m asking if their is any way of reducing the possibility of the valves freezing shut on me...this is my every day car.

Mount the valve above the air tank. This will help keep moisture from building up.

I had to do the same thing here in VA when the temps dropped below 30 degrees. I completely removed the tanks from the vehicle and then once all the ice was out of them, installed the Antifrezze. I am running two Viair 450s plus a water seperator and i tell you what, its not enough. Those compressors create alot of moisture.

What kind of separators are you running? Just curious because I am debating on whether I should install some on my Viairs. I seen a several of them advertised but I want a brand that will actually work in the field. What about adding a threaded drain to the tank like the bigger shop compressors have? This would allow you to drain the tank every so often to reduce build-up. You guys have any thoughts on that?
