ok i bought a 02 s-10 today with airbags, im pretty dumb because ive never had bags before, people always said they ride like a regular car but im hear to tell ya they dont, rough as hell if you ask me, anyways the truck has cce swithces for the bags, every corner drops panacake and see saw, now im having problems with the compressor it seem i can only hit the switches a couple times before it kicks on and it will stay on for like five minutes and in that time i cant move so if i slam it and the compressor kicks on i have to wait for it to build up before it will move, this cant be right is there a battery or something i can buy to keep the power steadily going to the compressor so its not doing this, another thing is that it seems every time i drop any switch the truck rubs on the wheels any suggestions would be greatly appriecated

Sounds like you have 1 compressor and 1 air tank? If so, you just dont have enough available air to play with. You fill the bags and then your tank is pretty much empty causing the compressor to run and fill the tank again. You can always " up grade" to a larger tank or even 2 tanks if needed. As far as the rough ride you need to find that " sweet spot" with just enough air in the bags to make the ride smooth. Too much air causes a rough ride. I hope that will help!

just a suggestion also, you might want to check the pressure switch on your tank. It sounds like it' s not kicking on until you run out of air. You can always just go and buy a new one for around $30 depending on your application. This will kick on the compressor at say 130psi and back off at 150psi which will greatly shorten the time your compressor runs.
As for the tires, drop it all the way, walk around and see if it is rubbing anywhere. You may need to drop to a smaller tire, or adjust your camber.
