Greetings and thanks for your time,
I am building a street rod using a 1938 Buick Model 40 body and frame, but the suspension, steering, and brakes from a 1977 Corvette. My questiion is this:
Is an air ride suspension a viable option for my project, or am I trying to " push a rope" ?

Thanks again for your time,

I don' t have anything pre-fabricated for the ' 77 Vette. I would imagine that it' s possible to adapt something, but I' m not familiar with that suspension.

Check with Bob Shetrone at Progressive Automotive in Baltimore Ohio 740-862-4649. they are an Air Ride dealer and build an air ride set up for the Vett suspension. I am not sure what generation Vett they are using but I am sure Bob can help you out.

I don' t think that he does anything for the older stuff. Just C4 & C5. The front suspension is a short long arm type, a lot like the camaro. We don' t build a kit, but I don' t think that it would be that hard. The rear is a transverse monoleaf...you are on your own there.
