I' m planning putting an air suspension on my ' 55 Buick Century. I just ordered the 9" Ford rearend. Now I need to decide how to put it in the car. The factory rear suspension in the ' 55 Buick has the coil spring centered directly over the rear axle. I can use a triangulated 4-link on the new rearend with the existing spring mouting positions, but will that work with an air suspension?

Also . . . what do I have to do with the front suspension? It' s a standard GM coil over shock arrangement.

Thanks for the help.

A triangulated four link will work with air suspension without a problem. You' ll need to check to see that you' ve got enough room to fit the ' bag between the axle and the upper mount when the car is at ride height.

Can you elaborate on " standard GM coil over shock arrangement" ?
