Hello,

I just got my double adjustable shockwaves the other day but they' re slightly different than what I ordered - the application is 63' Belair Wagon and the part number sent was SKW1010DA. From what I' ve been told - this shockwave is the same as the one for 70' s something Camaro' s except the Camaro' s use a lower trunion mount rather than a lower sleeve. My problem is that my shockwaves were shipped with the lower trunion mount instead of just the sleeve. Can this be removed? If so how? I' ve never spent this much on front shocks before and didn' t want to f*@! them up!

Thanks,
Eric

The camaro skw also uses the 2" stud top versus the 1.25" that we use on the Impala. Also we don' t recommend using the shockwave with the stock lower arm. You do have OUR tubulars right. Other aftermarket ones will not work. We had to move the mount on the lower arm. I would probably have those exchanged for the correct one. That is a two piece trunnion that is screwed together.

Thanks for the info Darren. I' ll check the length of the stud when I get home. As for the front a-arms, I' m have ART uppers and haven' t decided if I' m going to run ART lower arms or have some fabbed out of chromeoly. Just curious, in what direction was the lower mount on the a-arm moved, out towards the spindle or in towards the frame?

Thanks,
Eric
