Heres the project.... Its an 02 Blazer Xtreme. All my buds put together thier own systems with slam bags and airlift and all that crap... What I want to do is have the adjustability of air ride, luxury of the ride, and be able to take corners faily quickly like a racing style suspension... What kind of cost am I looking at if you can help me at all... Also, i really only want to bag the front, I saw the control arm/bag combo for $999, is that both or single? Also what air management system would you recommend, I already have a tank. SuicideDoors.com 5 gal SuperSlim

The price is for both. If you are only doing the front any of the 2 way systems will work. If you dont need a FAST rise time the cheaper the system. There is several options. I cant quote prices but... get a ART catalog, look through it. All of the prices are listed. It really depends on how " fast" you want it and your budget. Take a look at the arc2700 system. This system has a tank with it. If you want to to use the tank you have because of it' s size you could always buy the componets seperate valves, fittings compressor, airline etc. But, it' s probably cheaper to buy a " kit" and keep the extra tank as a spare??

I agree with Trevor. You might want to bag the rear down the road and could use that spare tank. That' s how I ended up, starting out with a single 5 gal tank, and then adding another, a 5 gal tank for the front and the back by this winter. For your sporty demands I highly recommend the Shockwave front setup with the lower control arm setup riding on the stock front spindles for now. If you want to splurge a bit more, add in the upper control arms while your tearing apart your suspension. It' s worth the money in my opinion for how little more the uppers go for to do the whole system and have the looks and the added performance of the uppers and lower control arms with the shockwave setup. This setup is easier, and more performance orientated over the Coolride setup. You pay a bit more, but it is worth it in the performance department. Go with the regular shockwaves, I went with the Dual Adjustable setup, and it' s not really worth the extra money for these trucks. They are all valved quite similar I was told and it' s noticeable. About the only thing you' ll want to do is adjust the compression to 3 clicks at the most and you' ll never really need to touch the rebound if you even paid the more for it! The shockwaves are valved the same wether it' s for a 1 ton truck or tiny little S-10, so this gives you very aggressive sporty performance in such a light truck. You can ride more aggressive than the stock height of your Blazer X, and gain just as much performance or close to a 2/4 Dropped Blazer X height. Yes it is that good, as long as you get each wheel it' s own valve setup. So for now, get the shockwave setup with a 5 gal tank compressor system with 2 valve configuration. I highly recommend the rideproe 2 valve setup for now, and you could add 2 more valves if you choose to do the rear down the road with the extra tank and just pick up a compressor as well and you' d be good to go. If you want super fast lift and drop rates, you' ll want to spend the extra cash and get the BigRed valves instead of the regular RidePro valves in the cheaper kits.
