hoppin a bagged el camino?

I have a 85 el camino and I' m now putting the air system on it and I was wodering if I would be able to hop or come really close to hopping with a belt driven compressor, 1/2" hose, 1/2" air valves, two 3 gallon air tanks, and putting around 150 to 175 psi into it? I want the ride quality with air, but I also want the quicknes of hydros do you think I can get it with this setup.

With speed you will tend to loose ride quality because the systems tend to be too fast to tune. Also the ride quality comes from haveing the correct bags and brackets and shocks for the application.
