I am installing a coolride suspension setup on the front of my dually, the instructions are vague on where to mount the bumpstop, although there are dire warnings on leaving it out, the only instructions apply to a 1/2 ton 67 p/u, maybe a page was left out? I digress. Can I mount the stop and spacer on one of the mounting holes for the upper plate?I am probably going to go with a thicker stop to clear the fender since I am running 2" drop spindles. There seems to be enough clearance, but I haul a 25' gooseneck horse trailer so failure is not an option.

The air spring can be the bump stop, but on that particular application you will probably have tire clearance issues before the bag bottoms out. The bumpstop gets bolted to the crossmember just outside of the air spring.

Put the bump stops on today. went to a taller cushion to clear the fenderwells, now have about 3/8 " clearance, can I get a longer piece of bumpstop spacer? I would like to have a little more clearance. Does anyone want to trade a set of stock spindles for my drop spindles? I am going to put some air in it tomorrow to see what it looks like.

Ok I have the front setup done, now a question about the rear.
Is there a swaybar available that will work with the 4 link setup, and is the weld on 4 link as strong as the bolt on setup? I am running a 500hp 454, 465 4spd and a dana 70 rear end. I woud hate to twist something off, remember I am hauling 10,000 lbs of trailer & horses.

Do the bolt on. All of the bars and brackets are thicker.

What about a swaybar?

Not sure about the sway bar. The air spring and link bars are all to the outside of the frame rail so I don' t think they will be a problem. The pan hard bar is the only thing that I can think of that might be in the way.

Hey if you want to trade spindles i have some stock spindles and would be more than happy to trade. The spindles i have are the 1 1/4" rotors which i would think is the same as yours...anyways let me know if you still are interested, clynt11@hotmail.com
