First I feel pretty dumb asking but I am in deep so I need help if possible. I traded for a 88 chevy full size pickup because I have wanted a bagged truck for many moons, the bags read firestone on the front, rear I have no idea, the truck leaks down in front over night to tha ground, right rear rides lower than the left rear unless I drop it all the way or almost all the way, it looks like a 3 gallon air tank hanging under the bed and a small compressor, brand I have no idea, but system is slow as syrup, I think it has 1/4 lines to the bags..

I have not to this day been able to see any valves other than the two on the dash for front and rear to raise or lower, air comes out in cab..

I have never been close to a air system before let alone know where to start on this one, I need help bad please...

I would love to see just one system all hooked up so it can be viewed with the eye like a cut a way or digram so I know how or where to start on what ever I need to do like replace the bags or valves, I am guessing after reading in this forum I need a larger tank, a new compressor or 2 compressors, larger than 1/4 air line? I don' t know but I am willing to get it on and fix this mess if I can get a starting place, still would like to see a break down on a complete system with all the parts in tact so I could get a general idea what goes where, I have taken some pictures of the bags and some under the truck of the tank and compressor just in case I need them, I will do anything you need for me to do just to get this right, money is an object but I am not broke yet, again thank you much, greengo

your front has a leak somewhere obviousl;y take some soapy water and shoot at the connections to find your leaks. usually its where the hose goes into the bag or valves. The plastic hose has to be cut very straight or the possibility for leaks in the push to release connections. I cant tell you why one side of the back is lower that other besides something mechanically wrong. Unless you have 4 seperate connections and that one is not getting enough air.

First, sounds like you want/need a new system. How much are you willing to spend? You could go all out with a rideproE setup, or just simply upgrade your system. By upgrading to 3/8" lines which is plenty you will be fixing your leak problem by redoing your fittings and replacing the lines if you do it right. As well, this is if it only leaks down on one side, meaning your valves hold find, it' s just the fitting or line connection to the one bag in the front. I would run a min. tank of 5 gal for that truck, 10 if you want to play around (2- 5gal tanks). Start with the 3/8" lines and fittings, then go from there if your still not happy, then change the tank out, then compressor, then valves and hardware. May be more expensive in the long run, but easier on the budget doing it bit by bit to your desire rather than dumping a grand right away to get it done right now... Good luck, lots of help to be given on this web forum without much criticism for once! haha

All that will help but I think you main restriction is in the valves. Judging by the air exhausting inside the cab you have manual valves. They have a very small orifice in them and will be slow no matter what size airline or tank you use.

Do you have a 2 way or 4 way??

Many vehicles require more pressure in one side to level it out. This problem along with air transfer is why we use 4 way systems. I would suggest converting it to an electric valve setup, like the BigReds. They will give you a 1-2 second rise time. At that time I would also upgrade the airline to 3/8" or half and get the second comp. and tank.
