replacing control arm bushings

I have a 76 chevy c10 and before putting on my bags i would like to replace the upper and lower control arm bushings. I heard it was a pain in the a** but has anyone done this and how much work is actually involved?

I know i will have to remove the all brake hardware, hubs, spindles and springs but how much work is actually involved past that?

I was hoping someone else could help out. I' ve never a pickup of that era but I would imagine it like most GM vehicle. The balljoints will need to be punched out with a press and the bushing should also press out.
