I have a 1995 Chevy C1500 2WD Reg Short, I plan on buying a rear air bar, front coolride with strong arms and the Ride-Pro/Compressor package. How long would it take to install, keeping in mind that I have extensive automotive experience and have access to all the tools. Also my truck is already lowered 5" front and 7" rear with 3" coils and 2" spindles up front and 6" flipkit and 1" shackles out back. Would I need to replace my current lowering spindles with OEM spindles to install the front coolride? Or will it still work correctly with the 2" lowering spindles installed? Also what is the total drop front and rear from stock height on this application when fully deflated/fully inflated?

Your dropped spindles will work fine, they' ll just bring you lower to the ground. Sounds like your good to go, and if you started early on a weekend you should have it done in a couple days taking your time. If you really pound at it with a buddy to help you take it apart, you could possibly do it in a day, totally bagged at the end of it both ways! I would suggest to take your time, and do it over a full weekend. You don' t wanna rush your plumbing job with the compressor setup and rush the trimming job you might have to do on any framework pieces either. Other than that, you don' t need anything for special tools and it' ll be fun doing the install! I did my own truck as well, and actually it went alot easier than I planned and I took as much time as I could have, but I could have easily done it in a weekend from start to finish. The hardest part for me was fabbing a bracket to hold my compressor underneath the frame. That' s probably going to be your biggest challenge too, choosing where to put the compressor and valves. That' s how easy it is!

Actually there is no trimming on the front of that truck. I' m not saying that it is not possible to do it in a day, but I would like to see it. I would say 40 hrs. Total drop with spindles is about 7-8 up front and about 10 in the rear. It will put the axle up against the bed floor.
OK, thats cool, thank you very much. One more quick question, should I cut the box out?? Is it nessesary?

Try now, cut later, only cut if you have to....

Nope. I think you might have to trim a brace but you won' t have to cut a hole in the bed.
