ok here is what setup i have on my s10 the arc4800e compressor system, out back i got the roadgrater and up front the cool ride with the tubulars, all i am wanting to kno is what i need to buy or how i can make my rise time faster, and if ther is anyway to adjust it, the setup is decent now but i am looking for a faster lift speed, im just trying to get the speed like my buddy has on his s10, we both have the same sized tanks and 1/2 air line i have the (2) viair 400 compressors with a 150 pressure switch, i was lookin at his and he has like a 110-150 or sumthan pressure switch, if im thinking right that shouldnt effect the speed just the pressure it refills the tank?? any help would be great im just confused

The pressure in the tanks affects the rise time as well. be sure he' s not running more than 150PSI, alot of fast kits out there do. So check that first, then I would look at other issues.... It' s hard to say right now without seeing your vehicle if it' s fast enough or if something in the suspension is slowing it down?

tha dude also has no shocks on his truck he said it makes it faster but f that, and im sure its not something in the suspension, hes running his at like 175psi, i kno its over 150, so what do i need to do to get more air, a pressure switch? if thats the case can u run a higher than 150 psi on the viair 400 compressors

There you go, that' s exactly it.... Like I said in a post before, you get ride quality with ART.... I bet you aren' t like worlds away in speed difference, but it' s true, without shocks you lift way faster! That' s one reason why hydraulics are faster too, cause they have no resistance like shocks to worry bout! Plus toping it off with 175PSI makes quite the difference over 150PSI.... Obviously if you wanted speed you shoulda done the same route and got a crappy ride quality system like half of the others out there that are only good for speed, not reliability and comfort/performance that ART stands behind. Once you start going over 150PSI it' s alot harder to prevent leaks and keep the valves sealed. I' m sure ART' s systems could handle the 175PSI but it' d surely void all warranties and I wouldn' t stand behind saying that without trying it myself, but your pushing the envelope because they didn' t design their bags and compressor systems to handle that pressure.... Everything comes at a price, and obviously your buddy may be faster playing with the switches, but your faster down the road cause he' s all over the place without shocks! LOL, and a hell of a lot faster through the corners too! Enjoy your ride, or go with hydros if beating him means that much! :D

yea i should of when the other way or not wasted thefuckin money on the big compressors and air if air rides not for speed or 1/2 air lines or big red valves

Throw shocks and 150PSI on buddy' s system, and you' ll see hardly a difference in speed. You didn' t waste your money, if I pulled up beside you, you' d be faster than me and you still have the comfort. Fact is you have one of the most fastest and comfortable/performing systems on the market, your buddy doesn' t! Be happy for that, I would! But yeah like you said, I guess you got it handed to you when you got comfort and performance outta the deal, you just wanted to be the fastest one on the block no matter what the consequences! [:-]
