Don' t forget what ART designed their kit to do! It wasn' t to be like alot of the other kits out there to play around at a car show doing side to side and front to back/pancake manuevers! It was to have a controlled air suspension with performance and comfort all in one package. Some of those packages with faster speed for playing around, but not exactly sitting there all day on the switches. Yes you can wire in a 10 switch box like any other system, you can do whatever you want with this system no different than any other, it just wasn' t designed just for excessive playing around, just user adjustability. So grab a box, and wire it into your harness and your good to go! I' ve heard of alot of guys doing this, and was/still am thinking bout doing it myself. I just find hooking up some extra air into my tanks from a larger stationary compressor system and playing with the remote a little more feasable at this point. Your always going to run outta air at some point, no matter how many switches you have! LOL, the remote works pretty good for playing around, and you can wire it to work on or off the ignition, up to you!

Thanks for the info, i was just curious. I' ve seen some people with the ART controller and i' ve seen some with a switch box, but didn' t know if they had ART kits or some other kits.
I' m pretty new the the air ride stuff, and considering buying front and rears soon, so i' m trying to learn what works and what doesn' t so i don' t ruin some expensive gear.

Nah you can' t ruin anything in this kit anymore than any other kit. Grounding out a positive wire on anything will ruin it, this kit or any other. If you just wire the box into the wiring harness your good to go, pretty straight forward. The hardest part will by wiring the box correctly to make it do what you want accurately. That' s all there is to it.... Just cut and splice.....

What do you have to do to get the remote to work while the car is on??
Thanks.....

You will have to put the yellow wire on a toggle.

You would have to put a switch on the yellow wire. I' m not sure if it' d kill the permanent display power on your ECU, but when you hit the remote you' d get a quick view of that bag pressure with the yellow power wire on or off. I don' t know the consequences of leaving the yellow wire permanantly disconnected while driving in relevance to the lighting display on the ECU? Plus everytime you were to toggle the yellow wire on and off I think it would function the ride at height feature and set you back to your original ride height which could be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it? I' m so curious bout this I just might try it out for myself this spring! :D

Yes it will trigger the ride height on start but that can be turned off by the DIP switches.
