Hey Tony and Darren,

I have a 99 tahoe 4dr 2wd, I was going to put the airbar on it but decided that the parallel 4 link would be a little less harsh on the pockets. So my question is what all is involved with the install. Is it just as easy as the airbar but needs welding instead of bolting. Will I have to buy more parts? Will it come with detailed instuctions? I' m a good mechanic and my welding is ok. So I think I could handle the install even though it would be my first install. Any info would be great. Thanks

Ya know its not that hard. It will require you to be able to center the rear end, set pinion angle, and calculate bag heights. The weld on kit comes with general instruction, but nothing vehicle specific.

Yeah that sounds simple. So which 4 link kit do I need to order? Will I need a panhard bar? If so does it come with the kit or do I need to order one. Thanks

ARS14500 is the part #. It will include the pan hard bar along with along with all the weld on brackets and 4 link, also shocks, bags, and bag brackets.

Should I weld in the c-notch first or should I install the 4-link then the c-notch? I' m thinking the c-notch first but for some reason I' m thinking other wise. So I thought I would ask. Can' t hurt to ask is what I' ve always been told. Thank for your help.

You will want to center the axle first so it sits in the center of the notch.

So in other words do the 4 link and get everything lined up. Then brake out the torch and start cutting.

Yea, and I would take some notes of axle location before you unbolt the leafs.
