4 link on a 10 bolt

I have been restoring my 85 c10 and have it down to the frame. I want to convert from the old leaf springs to a 4 link. I heard that a triangulated 4 lnik wouldn' t work because you can' t weld the cast axel housing. What can I swap in so i can use a 4 link?

You could use a 9" Ford. We typically use a parallel 4 link on those trucks.
