I think I have myself talked into the Airbar and Shockwaves for my ' 67 Mustang. Does anyone know if air ride is planning some upper and lower arms for classic mustangs? Their Strong Arms look good...

We have thought about it, but nothing in production yet. We used a set of Total Control Products on the boss' 69.

Can I help you think about it? Just think about how much easier it will be for us Mustang folks to buy your products. Go down to Summit with three part numbers and get everything that you need to trick out the ride...maybe even make a little logo to go under the Pony Emblem that says ' airride' for fun.

The ' 67 that this will be going onto will not be ready for suspension for a while, as we' re stripping it completely and going major restomod.

On my ' 65 Fastback......

I' m using upper control arms from BlueMoon / Control Freaks:

and lowers with a spherical bearing from Global West:

Went with the RRS unit. It does some things for me that the others didn' t. A bit pricey but top notch design, build quality and customer support.

It has many good features, but the main thing I wanted in a power rack was that it didn' t replace the lower cross brace under the engine. This puts less stress on the unit as it' s not a structural member. I' m using a cross brace from Cobra Automotive that connects not only to the frame, but to the lower control arm pivot for a much stronger brace. About 2/3 down the page " Road Racing front crossmember"
