Hi,

After my other thread I sent an email to the sales team in the hope of discussing a way round building a custom system without ART having the car in question (our demo/show Z32 here in the UK) with us supplying the damper, spring and top mount, but unfortunately I haven' t had a reply back so I guess things aren' t looking good for having a complete set up from you guys. It' s a shame as ART seem to be the best in the business and we want only the best for this car.

It looks like the next best thing will be to source another supplier as the show season is looming. Eventually we' d still like to incorporate the Level Pro, when it becomes available, as it sounds incredible. With that in mind we' d be looking to buy a system that would be compatible with the impending technology. Would someone be able to give us an opinion on the system below and if it would be suitable for use with the Level Pro?

I' m not sure what happened to your email. I asked around but no one remembered seeing it. It' s not that I don' t want to help you, I just don' t know enough about that suspension to make an accurate recommendation. Looking at the drawings that you have supplied helps but there is much more to the story that what we can see there. It looks like Shockwave would definitely be the best candidate. I am thinking that a pair of 9000 series might get the job done up front, but the clearance up the upper arm looks pretty tight. The 7000' s might be a possibility depending on amount of weight being applied to it. Same deal on the rear. I' m sure that you will have to fabricate new upper mounts as well.

The bad about this deal it that there may be some trial and error, and being that you are in the UK, it makes things more difficult.

Here is a link to the different mount and lengths of the 7000 & 9000 series Shockwaves.

Keep in mind that the 7000' s will pick up about 800 lbs with 100psi and the 9000' s about 1200 lbs. Don' t forget about the motion ratio and angle correction factors.

Darren, thanks for the reply it' s appreciated. I totally understand where you' re coming from and if anything I respect you guys more for not wanting to take on a job unless you know you can do it absolutely right.

We' ll resort to our original plan and get a four point solenoid system made up over here in the UK and come back to you for the Level Pro system when it comes on the market if that' s ok.

Thanks for your time and help mate and we look forward to dealing with you in the future
