83 f350 front suspension

Hi I`m new at this. All venders say that they don`t make air ride for older fords. Was wondering what the difference was between the new ones ( 99 and newer ) compared to my 83 f350. I am making my own rear air ride and doing away with the steel springs. Any ideas would be greatly appricated.

The new Fords have upper and lower control arms, whereas your truck has Twin-I beams. This suspension is very limited when it comes to keeping the alignment correct at a lowered height. FatMan fabrications make a Mustang II front kit the convert it to upper and lower arms.
