What would be the recommended routing of the air lines form the front to the trunk connections? Under the car or thru the firewal under the dash and thru the rocker panels.
Under the car seems the way to go but wouldnt it be kinda dangerous. I mean what if while your driving and something from the road hits the line and pokes a hole.

The lines are DOT approved and are plenty tough to take quite the beating! I wouldn' t hesitate to put them anywhere. I would be just as worried running it through the firewall and trying to prevent the line from getting cutup from the firewall than a rock hitting it? I mean, your not 4x4ing it, and even then, if your really paranoid, run as much of the line inside your frame rails like I did on my truck. I just did this cause my truck drags and the odd carwash likes to hook up on things, so that was the best way to go, you can' t see any of my airlines unless you look really hard from behind the wheels. Nice and clean, the way I like it! Put them wherever works best, those ART DOT air lines will handle anything mother nature can throw at them, in or out of the vehicle.

as sparx said, dont' worry about mother nature and what not. Currently on my truck i have my lines run on top of my frame inbetween the body and cab/bed of the truck. Running into the bed. Very soon i' ll be making some stainless hardline for them. I would def look under the mustang and get ideas where to run them. I would suggest looming the line. It' s just something i do and have always done. Also, make sure to keep the lines away from the exhaust. The exhaust wil melt them and then melted lines leak and a leak goes BANG as ur car hits the earth hard and unexpectedly.

Yeah, I' ll vouch for CustomChevS10 about the exhaust comment! Doesn' t even have to touch the line... Just rest near the exhaust and have it blow against what it' s resting on for long enough period of time.... Maybe I shoulda listened to myself about installing a turn down exhaust until I got it redone? I had to find out the hard way at 125MPH and 4500RPM of exhaust screaming straight out onto my compressor bracket... That' s alot of heat, and it lasted a while before my one airline bursted too! That' s the number one thing to watch, hight temp heat and sharp edges! Other than that you should be fine!

Lous I ran all my airline through 5/16 fuel line. It might be over kill but I never have to worry about my lines getting cut or punctured......
