I' ve got a stupid question. Where do you connect the illumination wire and the ignition wire for the ECU? Correct me if I' m wrong but is it okay to run these wires to the fuse box with the corresponding fuses?

That' s fine the illumination wire will light the LED behind the switches. I typically connect both of these wires to any key hot.

When you say you hook it to a key hot, does that mean so it will turn on with the key? or when the car is on?

Any circuit that has 12v when the key is ON (not on start) and then nothing when the key is off.

To explain a little more in detail i' ll be running the illumination wire to my cigarette lighter fuse and my ignition has 4 positions so i' ll run the ignition wire to the " B" ignition fuse which in my case is the accessories fuse i.e. radio, windows and such.

I hooked mine up to my parking light wire so that whenever it' s dark out and you turn on your lights, or just parking lights the leds light up just like the rest of your interior and dash lights do. Just find one of your wires off of any interior light wiring should be good enough. You should have one by your feet, that would probably be closest to your display? It still is keyed hot that way as well.

If at all possible could anyone explain a little bit more in detail exactly where to mount the small round plate that comes with the 22600 cool ride kit. The instructions are kind of vague it just tells that it goes with the upper mounting plate for the f9000 sleeve bag. Also after I mounted the upper and lower plates to the sleeve bag I had a few extra washers, just wanted to make sure i' m not leaving anything out that would damage the bags.

That is basically just a large washer...it will sit on top of the frame and the all thread will poke through it.
