Hi guys,

I have a 1970 Lincoln Continental Mark III which I would like to lower, but I also have to be able to ride it at the current (stock) ride height due to the imense high number of speed bumps in my area. most of the driving will be done on the freeways and highways with the car down on the ground though:D.

Would Air ride be a good option for me as the car has to have good comfort and handling characteristics while being lowered? (got a 521.01 CID engine in it).

Thanks, Linc.

I don' t have a kit specific for that car, but I do have a universal kit that should work.
There will only be one " ride height" of the system. If you inflate it too much above or below that designed ride height the ride quality will suffer and the front end alignment will be out of spec. You can raise it for extra clearance, but you can drive it for long periods.

Darren,

how much approximately would the ride height increase/decrease at the designed ride height of the system? (I' m planning to have the alignment set at the lower ride height)

Is there a lot of customizing neccessary for me to retrofit the airride in my car?

and maybe most important of all, how much would the system cost?

I don' t know how much extra work will be needed, we have never done one of those cars. From ride height you will be able to raise and lower it approx. 3" .
