Hi guys, can someone tell me the extended and fully compressed measurments of the shocks you supply in the relocation kit S1000 and S1001.
Thanks

S1000 10.125 x 14.625
S1001 11 x 15
We have other lengths if you have something in mind.

I was just bearing in mind that i' ll probably be getting 6" travel on the air bag so a shorter stroke on the shock will either prevent full raise or full drop, or indeed damage to the shock or it' s mounts if either is pushed too hard during a raise or drop, is this the case ?

You have to keep your motion ratios in mind in a front application. Dont simply look at it as a 1:1 ratio in the front. Second thing you need to keep in mind that if you have say 6" of travel at the airspring, that could realistically equate out to 10" of travel at the wheel. Depending on your front suspension, you will more than likely not even see that kind of travel before getting into ball joint bind. Most front suspensions are safe at around 6" of travel and about 5" of travel for your typical Mustang II. If you end up mounting a shock that has say 3-4" of travel... you are still safe because you usually mount the shock at a little more than a 1.5:1 ratio.......

getting a little more compicated now !!
I think i understand... bottom line seems that 4" travel on the shock at an angle and inbooard will be enough to give a good drop and a resonable safe ride height.
I hope i' ve grasped the concept
Thanks again guys, good advice as usual
