View Full Version : Ride Pro-E wires ?
Was trying to wire my new Ride Pro-E controls this evening & discovered that the wire colors used on the harness do not match the instructions. Instead of each harness having a orange, red, black, blue wire as the instructions list, the harness is as follows. first weatherpak has yellow/ blackstripe, grey, pink, green.. Other weatherpak has yellow/white stripe, white/ green stripe, brown/ white stripe, blue. Anybody else have this problem? Not a show stopper, but a little upsetting.

I installed mine a few years ago and think I can remember having the same problem. I was able to figure front weather pack from back weather pack and just put them in the appropriate places on the ecu, just disregarding the colors. I made sure I made a mental note on what MY colors for the front and MY colors for the back were so I could hook them up at the front and rear valves correctly. My valves were mounted in a manifold configuration, so all the plugs from the noids were pretty much in the same vicinity. When I hooked up all the noids, everything was correct except the front RIGHT button was controlling the front LEFT of the car, so in that case, I just switched the two plugs at the noids to the weather pack, and everything was right. I think because of how simple Airride makes their products with " plug and play" , it is close to impossible to get inflate and deflate crossed. Hope this helps you.
Thanks Darren, I called this morning to get the lowdown, & within 2 minutes i had the correct info. Is a pleasure doing business with Air-Ride.
