I plan on buyin the following.
S-10 Roadgrater(rear).
CoolRide w/control arm and bolt-on shock mounts.
And i was wondering if the ARC4000e would do the same job as
the ARC4700e.Im alittle short on cash.

What is the job you want from it? It' ll raise and lower fine, just maybe not as fast and not in one shot with the air supply you' d be giving the system? It' ll definitely lay you out if you pull the front fender liners and add drop spindles with 26" tires up front and 28" tires out back, you can make it possible by many other means as well though!

OK, So it wouldnt raise it on one shot? But it will raise and lower fine.So would it be better to go ahead and chunk up the extra cash and get the ARC4700e?

For sure, the smaller kit might not raise it in one shot. I know with my ARC4700E kit with the shockwave front and airbar rear that with a 5 gal tank at 150PSI I have enough air/pressure to raise my shockwaves to 115PSI each and my airbar setup to 70PSI each for ride height once from completely empty for my ride height settings before the compressor kicks in. I would consider this system the bare minimum if you like to change your ride height but don' t choose to play much. I now want to add another tank and compressor to have a 10 gal setup to play more, but it' s fine for driving around and adjusting it up to down when I park. It might take a tad bit less air for the coolrides up front, those shockwaves need alot of high pressure air to get them up to ride height, but I doubt anything less than 150PSI 5 gal tank should be used if the ride height is to be adjusted on a regular basis.... I would only settle for a 3 gal tank if I didn' t plan on touching the ride height much, and solely used the system for comfort and performance rather than ride height adjustability/looks when laid out for parking. It would get annoying only making it 3/4 of the way up all the time to have to wait for the tank to fill again before driving away with the 3 gal tank! The 5 gal tank will get you up and moving ASAP and the comp will kick in after achieving that height to top up the tank PSI for the next lift while your rolling away....

Ok,Im gonna go ahead and buy the ARC4700e for the air system,Now for the drop spindles what you recommend,I want it as low as I can get it.

Are you pulling the inner fenders or not? Put it this way, if I didn' t have the Xtreme body kit, I' d be throwing on the drop spindles, especially with the Roadgrater rear setup. Only problem is you will be laying out on the inner fender liners on 26" tires, then you will lay crossmember with the X-cab... If I pulled the inner liner I' d make sure there was 20" rims up front, that would make it worth the hassle involved to pull the liners. You' ll be happy with the ARC4700E as long as you don' t wanna sit parked and play with it alot, I' m just picky and want more air to play more and for the shockwaves. You can' t go wrong for $250 spindles after spending this much into the suspension to get the extra drop a NON-Xtreme body kit could use with the Roadgrater setup. I had that setup, but it was too low sitting the ground effects 1" off the ground while sitting the tires on the inner fender wells! The spindles are pretty much necessary to drop the front as low as the Roadgrater is gonna drop the rear anyhow, just keep in mind the inner fenders and X-cab X-member will still require pulling if so the case!

Yea,I was planning on pulling the inners and putting 20s int he front and maybe a 22 in rear. With the ARC4700E could i just add an extra compresser to get a little more play time?

It would just take less time to fill the tank, you need volume for the play time.... Don' t get me wrong, you can play with the 4700E, but don' t expect to get more than a couple liftss from copmletely up to down before the comp needs to kick in before it' ll allow the front to lift that engine again! The back will keep going for a while, but you need serious air pressure to lift the front. The volume just keeps a higher pressure longer, running an extra compressor cuts down on the fill time only, takes stress off of the compressors too... You can help the situation by having higher capacity compressors and running higher air pressure switch cutoff, but that is an expensive solution compared to just adding another tank and a lower pressure rated comp... If you have doubts, get the extra tank and comp now, I wish I did, but the 4700E is a great system, I just luv playing with the switches more than I planned to! :D

Thanks, that was before the bags, but that' s the ride height, I should get my butt in gear and actually post the laid out pics, maybe after the turbo is installed in the coming week? Be sure to post some pics of your truck when your done too!
