I' m just curious if anybody else has had problems with the nylock nuts supplied to secure front shockwaves through the framerail. Mine are so tight that I' m forced to hammer them down to the threads, which makes them virtually impossible to line up correctly and leads to crossthreading. Anybody got any ideas on a solution?

I had no problems with the Shockwaves on my Cadillac, nut fit perfectly....but on the rear kit I was supplied with the wrong bolts to secure them on the bottom plate, easy mistake,so maybe there are different size lock nuts for the Shockwaves and you might have been supplied the wrong ones??

Yea. Make sure that you have the right pitch.

I checked it out. Turns out that the last batch didn' t get turned down enough. If need, give me a call and I will get you a new set out.
