If the air line or air bag is rubbing against anything it could fail. Other than that I feel that it is pretty reliable.

if an air ride system fails 99% of the time it' s because of the install. Parts normally just don' t explode or fail. For example if your air line bursts then perhaps it' s rubbing on something or it' s to close to heat and it burns a hole. That' s install error. If a bag blows perhaps it' s rubbing on something, also install error. If the install is good and everything is a-ok your system will last for a long time. So if you' re going to take it to a shop to install it make sure they do a good job and are a quality shop. You don' t want " bobs hack shop" installing ur air ride, because if something ruptures you' re in for the ride of a lifetime. If you' re stopped or going slow it' s not a big deal but when you are going faster and something happens then hold on because it' s no fun when ur truck slams to the ground when you don' t want it to.

I was wondering if it failed cuz i was talking to a officer about it when i got pulled over not so long ago and he said if it ever failed and i caused an accident then i am reliable so i thought id ask how safe the air ride is before i install it. any sugestions on what i should buy, i dont have alot of money im only 17 so i have a limit, if any one could send me links to some cheap managment systems and bags and 4 link that would be awesome!

that officer is proabably correct about your liability in an accident. Was it a traffic cop? I think he is just trying to scare you. Install, install, install. If you install the parts correctly they are very reliable. It take me a long time but i check clearances with the wheels turned full lok at every height, things like that.

that concerns me, don' t start cutting corners, you get what you pay for, if you are worried about parts failure, buy good parts.
