I hve a ' 98 S-10 with both upper and lower Strong Arms. The upper control arms seem to be creeking from the bushings. The suspension is new and only has about 400 miles on it. Can I fix this without having to disasemble anything? Any help would be appreciated.

We use lithium grease on them. Anything non petroleum based will work though. You will have to pull the arm off though.

Yeah paint slinger I rebuilt my whole front end on my 78 C10 back in the winter and it had ceaks and groans and stuff till it got settled in. I have had air ride since sept 04 and finally got the front end redone ,,, but thenI drive 90 miles a dayround trip 5 days a week.
If you think its coming from the rubber bushings go get some straight rubber lube at a local tire shop like they mount tires with and spary every bushing down for several daysit will wash off as most of its water soluable to begin with.
it will eventually wash away.

My front end does that from time to time, of course my bushings are factory and 17 years old. I use white lithium grease. It comes in a spray can like WD40. I spray them down and let it work its self in. This will usually quite them for a few days. It is a temp fix till i get the time to replace the bushings.

The thing is that these bushings are pretty new. They are the poly ureathane bushings that came with the control arms. One the local alighnment shops told me that these bushings will last forever but are very prone to creeking. I was told that I could replace them with rubber bushings. But since they are not factory arms I don' t know what size will fit them.
