Valve stuck open?

I purchased the ARC2700 in November. On a few occassions, and more often recently, I' ve noticed that when the compressor is running the front valve must be stuck open. It gradually and un-noticeably until I' m blasint off, raises the nose of my car in the air and the Shockwaves up front are reaching 110 psi.

Could this be a defective valve? Would these be under warranty if I got them in Novemeber?

We do have a year warranty on the valves, but more often that not it is just a piece of debris stuck on the seat.
