Hello, Im Dave. Im new to the forum but im not new to the hot rodding world. Im 19, live in the middle of nowhere in Illinois, and am a full time college student. I am majoring in engineering. I have an 89 c1500 that im turning into a hotrod. Ive already swapped the motor for a high horse 350, and im saving for a TCI Streetfighter tranny. Ive already relpaced the rear end after my old one exploded. I am a self taught mechanic and have much respect from the town in my abilities. I am a car guy and have impressed many people with my knowledge and young age. I really want to to get a full air ride system for my truck but money is tight. I am currently looking for sponsorships. I participate in many car shows, including the Power Tour, Hot Rod Super Nationals, and Cruise for Charity, so i dont think it will be too big of a problem finding sponsors. I look forward to participating in the forum.
