I just finished wiring up my ARC4100e system on my 73 Trans Am, and I don' t get anything on the display. I have checked to make sure the yellow wire is to Key Hot and the red wire is 12v. There is a green and black wire for Illumination, but did doesn' t say what to connect that to. The compressors fill the tank and then shut off ok, but I don' t see any air going to any of the 4 corners. I hope this has to do with the display box. Any help would be apprieciated.

Sending the display and ecu units back tomorrow and hopefully something just came loose inside them during shipping.

You do have the black wire connected to ground right?

Yes and tested the voltage to that at the plug to the ECU.

Got the stuff back and it was said is ok. Does the green/black wire need to be connected (illumination)? If so to what? I tested at the plug going to the ECU good 12v on red wire, good 12v on yellow when key is on. This sucks!

You will need to hook the green/black wire up (illumination) to the same place you hooked the yellow wire up so that it only illuminates when the key is on, then you should have your display.

Thank you. They might want to change the wiring instructions to reflect that. I will try that. THANKS!!

That didn' t work, but what did was touching the green wire to 12v and the lights came on, and then worked right from there, without the green wire hooked to anything. Very strange.

I remember reading it correctly as Darren mentioned in the instructions no problem on how to wire it up? There are some vague areas, but I went over everything about 3 times before I actually did the install and that may have helped? But I do remember reading a few suggestions for the lighting setup, I wired mine into my dimmer switch but the LED' s work on a straight power source anyhow, you can' t dim them up and down like the rest of the bulbs in the truck? They are simply on or off....

I couldn' t get anything on the display at all, until I had the green wire hooked up to 12v, and now it' s not hooked to anything and works fine. Just seems strange to me.

Do you have the RidePro e version 1? With that system the green wire should only be switching on the LED' s behind the switches. Shouldn' t have anything to do with the gauges.

I didn' t get ANY thing on the display until I put 12v to the green wire, then the display worked and the lights behind the switches lit up. With the green wire not connected to anything now the display works.
