My v8 S10 currently has 3" drop leaf springs in the rear and has a serious wheel hop problem on hard launches. I' d like to drop the rear a couple more inches and still be able to launch it hard. I know I can control it with traction bars but they will be too close to the ground if I lower it any more since I' ll have to use blocks. Is this possible with air suspension? Maybe an adjustable drag race style 4 link or ladder bar setup with shockwaves instead of coil overs? Has anyone else done this? I' m thinking air suspension will also allow me to carry a little bit of weight in the bed if I need to since I still use the truck for trips to Home Depot etc.

Thanks

Air suspension will allow you to do all those things. If your truck has a fuel cell I would go with a tri 4link set up. Or if you are going to backhalf it to run a ladder bar, or something like that just throw the shock wave in the coil overs place.

Suspenion upgrade in the rear will help some. But you need weight in the rear for traction regardless of you suspension setup. Especially with mini trucks with a V8 power plant.....:D
