I have a ' 99 S-10 Xtreme, reg. cab, stepside, 2' ' drop spindles and 4' ' drop blocks, Bellteh Nitro Drop shocks all the way around.

I was wondering what kind of lift/drop range i would have if i installed the CoolRide up front and the AirOverLeaf in the rear? (given my existing setup)

Do you take out the blocks and a couple leafs when installing the AirOverLeaf? Does that affect the range that the rear can travel up or down?

Does the S-10 CoolRide kit for $475 come with the bolt-on shock relocation bracket? And is the kit still bolt-on if I dont get the lower arm?

Im not looking for fast F-B-S-S, just to lift up and drop it when needed. Like when going over the harsh bumps and potholes in New York...you know?

I really apreciate this guys
Thanks

Mike

Mike,
With the Air Over Leaf kit you will remove all leafs except the 2 longest. You will probably take the blocks out, depending on how low you want to go. But the ride quality is only going to be so good, best ride quality will come with the AirBar.

The front shock mounts on the CoolRide kit are weld on unless using the lower control arm.

You will get about 5-6" of travel out of this system.

will the AirOverLeaf go lower or higher with the blocks in or out?

and with the drop spindles in front, will i be able to raise it up to stock ZQ8 height?

It will go lower with the block in.
It won' t get quite back to stock height if you fully inflate it. Ride height will be about 3" lower than stock.

not really sure how that AirOverLeaf system lowers the truck if the spring is still in there.

my frame is 5' ' off the ground right now with the components i explained previously

will i get it as low as 2' ' off the ground with AirOverLeaf?

you cannot go lower just bc you add the air over leafs...when using leafs, however low of a static drop you have is how low it will go, the bags just raise it...hope that helps

That completely answers my question, thank you.

Do you know how to dearch a spring?

And how to take the leafs out of the pack?

Thanks
