What do you generally do when mounting the compressor, tank and valves... do you mount them with nuts/bolts or do you just use self-piercing sheet metal bolts?

Either will work, boogie, I just personally feel more secure using nuts and bolts when mounting anything of substancial weight, especially if you have it mounted underneath of the vehicle.

I usually mount everything to a piece of MDF. Helps knock down the vibration and it' s a lot easier to plumb and wire everything on the bench.

MDF wouldnt really help me any with the way my setup is going to be layed out. Thanks for the input though.

One more question... the compressor relay - that doesnt have to be grounded to the frame does it? The tab on it is only to secure it not necessarily to ground it right?

Finished laying everything out today in my 63 caddy... only thing left is to actually install the shockwaves/coolride. Few more weeks... :-)
