I' m buying the ARF5000-LUCA S-10 Front CoolRide kit for my GMC Sonoma 2001 pickup, my question is, once it is installed, do I have to run the airline from the airspring anyway? The instructions in that sense are not clear, where do I have to attach that line?, I don' t have any air compressor and do not intend to install one. Pardon my ignorance, any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jose

Yes, you will have to run an airline from the air spring to somewhere it can be accessed.

Darren,
Am I forced to install a compressor? What are my choices if I don' t want to use a compressor?

Thanks...Jose

You can simply attach a schrader valve to the air line and fill it manually. Just like airing up your tire. But making adjustments on the fly is very handy in dialing in the best handling and performance.

Thanks very much for your prompt answer. Any small compressor that you might recommend to fit in my truck?

Thanks again...

Do you need the valves gauges and switches as well? Are you also doing the rear; or have any future plans for it?

I have plans for the rear as well but not immediately. I will need everything. Any affordable kit?

Thanks.....

I would go for the ARC2000 compressor kit. $699. This is using the electric valves, so you can easily upgrade to the rear in the future.

This is an old post and I haven' t been here in awhile but there is a hole in the framerail that you can run your airline into. Then it comes out a few feet down the frame and you can run it on the frame to the bed (assuming that' s where your tank/compressor) will be.
